Jerry Carletti & Abbie Deardorf
County police say two people have been arrested for growing marijuana in the basement of their Newark home.

Police say a search warrant executed Friday at the home of Jerry Carletti and Abbie Deardorf in the Robscott Manor community led to the discovery of materials used to grow marijuana, 1,200 grams of pot, a rifle and nearly $3,000 in suspected drug money.

Both Carletti and Deardorf face drug charges, as well as endangering the welfare of a child as police say their 1-year-old child was in the residence.

They've been released on $13,200 unsecured bond.
