Dover man killed in hit-and-run crash

A hit-and-run crash last night has left a Dover man dead.
State police say 38-year-old Curt Burns was trying to cross the southbound lanes of Route 13 south of South Governors Avenue just after 8 p.m. A vehicle heading southbound on 13 hit Burns, and he was thrown onto the shoulder.
The driver took off without stopping.
Burns was taken to Kent General, where he died. Police are still looking for the driver.
