Rt. 1 interchange rescheduled to next week
DelDOT says this weekend's weather forecast will postpone overnight work and lane closures at the I-95/Route 1 Interchange.
The department says the steel girder installation will now happen overnight, between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 5 a.m., starting next week on Monday through Wednesday.
On those days, I-95 northbound will be closed at the 4A, Route 1 exit, with one-lane restrictions starting near the rest area around 7:00 p.m. and two-lane restrictions at 8:00 p.m.
Two lanes will be closed for southbound drivers starting at 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
DelDOT is advising Northbound motorists to take 273 toward Route 1 North, and travel back to I95.
