Paramedic of the year
Wilmington's Kiwanis Club has chosen its Paramedic of the Year.
Corporal Peter Small was honored by the organization at its annual Public Safety Awards dinner on Wednesday.
In making the award Corporal Small was cited for the value he places on human life and his commitment to public service.
Cpl Small joined the county paramedics in 2000.
