Police name pedestrian killed on 495

Police have released the name of a Wilmington man who was killed after being struck twice on I-495 northbound early Saturday morning.
Police say the victim, John Davis, was standing in the middle of the highway just north of the Route 13 exit, when he was struck first by a truck and a second time by a car.
The 47-year-old Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway was shut down for three hours following the crash.
