Three bank robberies solved with one arrest
By Carl Kanefsky

Delaware State Police make an arrest in a Newark bank robbery investigation, and wind up cracking two other cases at the same time.

Police say someone robbed the Louviers Federal Credit Union branch on the Kirkwood Highway last Thursday.

After seeing a man matching the suspect's description, a trooper patrolling the area arrested 37 year old George Myers of Camden, New Jersey a short time later.

Once they had Myers in custody, police linked him to the robbery of the Delaware First Federal Credit Union on Newport Gap Pike last November, and the hold up of the M&T Bank branch in the Astro Shopping Center last October.

Myers remains behind bars on $102,000 bail.
