Wesley earns at-large bid to Division III National Tournament
By Sean Greene

Wesley College earned its 4th-ever trip to the NCAA Division III National Tournament when they were selected as an at-large to travel to face Williams College Saturday.

The 20-7 Wolverines lost an overtime battle at St. Mary's (Md.) in the championship game of the CAC tournament, but their school-record win total impressed the committee enough to be one of 20 non-conference winners to earn a bid into the field of 62.

Williams, based in Williamstown, Massachusetts, finished their regular season 23-4, losing in the NESCAC championship game to 25-2 Amherst by a single point. Amherst is one of just two teams to receive a bye out of the opening round, and handed Williams three of their four losses.

The winner of Wesley vs. Williams will take on either Catholic or Staten Island in the 2nd round the following Saturday.
