Construction resumes on Reedy Point Bridge
Construction has resumed on the Reedy Point Bridge.
For now, just one lane of traffic is closed for sandblasting and painting.
The project, which was supposed to be completed last year, involves steel repairs and painting of the 44-year-old bridge.
This spring, work will require a full closure of the bridge for two one-week periods though the dates haven't yet been determined.
The extensive project costs $10 million.
