WPD: Man shot in upper leg
Wilmington police say a man was hospitalized after being shot Thursday night.
It happened just before 7:00 p.m. on the 1100 block of Beech Street, where officers found a man who'd been shot in the upper leg while responding to a report of shots being fired.
Police say the man was transported to Christiana Hospital by ambulance and his condition is unknown at this time.
The investigation is ongoing with information on the shooting is asked to contact Wilmington police or CrimeStoppers.
