Convicted felon faces new gun charges
By Carl Kanefsky

The keen eye of a Wilmington Police officer lands a man behind bars on gun charges.

While on patrol in the 700 block of Maryland Avenue Thursday morning, Senior Corporal Marc Martinez noticed a man walking down the street with his arm pressed tightly against the side of his body.

As the man, later identified as Eric Lloyd passed Martinez's patrol car, the officer noticed the imprint of a gun.

Officer Martinez stopped Lloyd, and found him carrying a .32 caliber handgun.

Lloyd, a convicted felon, is being held on $29,000 bail.
