Domestic violence offender arrested

A domestic violence offender faces weapons and contempt charges after police find him carrying a gun.
Investigating a call of a man with a gun, police stopped 20 year old Tariq Taylor in the 15-hundred block of West 4th Street Thursday afternoon.
Police say they found Taylor with a .25 caliber semi-automatic handgun.
Taylor was charged criminal contempt of a domestic violence protective order, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, and possession of a firearm by a person prohibited.
