Wilm. Police seize heroin, crack
Wilmington's Gun Squad discovered heroin and crack during a firearm investigation on Baynard Boulevard.
Detectives stopped the vehicle of Rashaan Cherry and executed a search warrant.
Officers seized more than 5,300 bags of heroin -- worth about $30,000 -- 367 grams of crack cocaine and $900 in cash.
Cherry was committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in lieu of a $50,000.00 cash bond. He is a convicted felon and drug offender.
