Gas prices fall as Spring break approaches
Updated Sunday, March 10, 2013 - 10:14am
While gas prices are still high for this time of year, area motorists are getting some relief at the pump.
According to AAA MidAtlantic, the average cost of a gallon of gas across Delaware was $3.60 at week's end. That's a decline of a nickel over the previous week.
Auto club spokeswoman Jana Tidwell says it's still too early to know whether gas prices have peaked for the year.
She adds that some analysts believe motorists could see the cost of fueling up fall by 20 to 25 cents a gallon over the next month.
