A fugitive is arrested by County Police Friday.

New Castle County Police say an officer was on patrol on the unit block of Denham Avenue in the Knollwood Community around 3:00 p.m., when he performed a pedestrian stop on Gregory Lamar.

Lamar allegedly fled from the officer through the rear of several homes and police say he began scaling fences before another officer caught him.

Police say Lamar was wanted for four domestic-related incidents last year that involved his girlfriend and two outstanding warrants, for violating his probation.

He's being held at the Howard Young Correctional Institute after failing to post $8,400 bail.
