Man stabbed at Tri-State Mall

State police say a Newark man was stabbed in the parking lot of the Tri-State Mall early Wednesday morning.

It happened around 1:00 a.m.as the man and his friends were leaving a nightclub when they got into an argument with another group.

The confrontation escalated into a fight, and police say the man was stabbed three times in the back.

He was transported by private vehicle to a hospital, where police say he was treated for non life-threatening stab wounds.
