Red Clay needs your Legos
A school district puts the call out for Legos -- lots and lots of Legos.

Ted Amman of the Red Clay School District says students are emptying their toy boxes in an attempt to build the world's tallest Lego tower.
"We have some parents who said, 'I can't wait to get those things out of my house!' said Amman

It will test the 16,000 students' math and science skills.
"Make sure all the pieces fit together in the order that they need to be assembled," says Amman.

So how many Lego blocks do they need?
"The last tower that set the record which Czechoslovakia used, I believe it was 450,000 Legos," Amman says, "We're shooting for 110 feet, but prepared to add an extra foot or two if we need to."

The tower will be set up in August.
