Markell calls attention to math and science in weekly address
Gov. Markell used his weekly address to draw attention to research being performed by Delaware's high school students.
Markell, who handed out awards to seniors from Newark and Sussex Tech for the BioGENEius competition this week, stressed the importance of strong education in science and math.
"Weβre so fortunate to have these wonderful students as well as their great teachers who make this possible. You know, in a day and age when science, technology, engineering and math jobs are those in the greatest demand," Markell says.
