The City of Wilmington says illegal gambling machines and large amounts of alcohol were seized at the Thunderguard Motorcycle Club Tuesday.

Officials say fire marshals conducted building inspections in a corner lot on the 2800 block of Northeast Boulevard that's shared with the club and found an illegal assembly space built in a garage that was believed to have been used for several years.

Officers helped seized large amounts of alcohol and condemned spaces that the city says were connected to the motorcycle club.

Officials say charges will be filed against the building's owner, and anyone connected with the use of the buildings and the clubhouse was cited for several code violations.
