Gas prices continue to retreat as the summer driving season approaches.

Delaware motorists saw the price at the pump fall four cents to an average of $3.49 at week's end.

AAA MidAtlantic spokesperson Jana Tidwell says increased production and lower crude oil costs are helping ease the pinch on motorists wallets.

She says some analysts believe a brief spike may be in the offing, but gas prices should remain well below last year's spring high of $3.94 a gallon.
