2-alarm fire in New Castle
By Mellany Armstrong

A building was heavily damaged in a fire in New Castle Tuesday night, but no one was hurt.

The state fire marshal says fire crews were called to the 900 block of River Road just after 9 p.m. The fire quickly went to a second alarm and several more fire companies were called.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what started the fire.
