Elkton teen arrested in Feb. Newark robbery

A 16-year-old from Elkton is arrested for his role in a months old robbery in Newark.

Police say Marqueze Hammond is accused of jumping a 19-year-old man, along with two others, as he was walking on South Chapel Street at Scholar Drive in February.

The victim was knocked to the ground and the suspects fled with his wallet, allegedly using the victim's credit card to make purchases.

The other two robbers were already arrested.
