Wilmington Police investigate bomb threat at Howard HS

Wilmington Police continue to investigate a bomb threat at Howard High School, even though no bomb was found.

The threat was called in at 11:30 Monday morning, and the school was immediately evacuated. K-9 officers conducted a sweep of the building and found no suspicious packages or devices.

The school was declared safe at 12:30 PM.

Anyone with information is asked to call Wilmington Police's Confidential Tip Line or Crime Stoppers.
