Bloody footprints lead to shot man in Wilmington
By Mellany Armstrong

Police follow bloody footprints to find a man who'd been shot in Wilmington.

Police showed up at the home in the 1100 block of Read Street Friday afternoon and found a trail of bloody footprints leading to a home on Pleasant Street. They found a man who'd been shot in the foot. He told them a man fired into his house, and that he saw two men take off.

In a second shooting in the city, a 25-year-old man was shot in the leg. He told police he was standing in the 1200 block of West 3rd Street about 8 p.m. when he was shot. He's in stable condition.

Police are still looking for the suspects in both shootings.
