ODU shuts down Blue Hens to take 2 of 3
By Don Voltz

Old Dominion got the big outs when they needed them as they downed Delaware, 4-3, at Bob Hannah Stadium on Sunday, winning two of three in the weekend series.

Over the last three innings, Delaware had the tying run in scoring position but never could get a hit to drive in the game-tying run.

Junior Jimmy Yezzo continued his torrid hitting for the Blue Hens.

He hit his 12th home run of the year in the 4th, extending his hitting streak to 10 games...he leads the nation in hitting with a .447 average and leads the CAA with 12 home runs and 58 runs batted in.
