New Castle Police responded to an incident involving a knife late Monday night in the community of Todd Estates in Newark.

Police say a man and his ex-girlfriend got into a fight and she came at him with a knife. The man called 911 and the woman fled on foot.

Corporal Edwin Mousley and his canine partner Quattro tracked down Grace Krawiec in the rear yard between a shed and a stockade fence.

She was taken into custody and charged with possession of a deadly weapon and offensive touching.

She's behind bars at Baylor on more than 60-thousand-dollars bail.
