The defending state champs got off to an early start and outscored the Force 13-2 in the first half.
Cape (11-0), which finished last year's season 18-0, opened up the second half with four goals from Karalyn Joseph (2), Allie Yeager, and Riley Wagner to give extend the lead 17-2.
With more than 18 minutes left in the game, Charter began a rally. Jordan Wood scored Charter's first goal of the half. The Force's Morgan Lamey, Josephine Nixon, and Alexandra Mash followed with goals of their own to close the gap 17-6.
Yeager, who finished with four, added her final goal with six minutes left to play. Karissa LeMaire's secured Cape's 11th victory this season with the last goal at the 2:16 mark.
Cape's Jordan Brown also led scorers with four goals.
Mash and Lamey led Charter with two goals a piece.
The Vikings, who average 17 goals per game, travel to Queens Anne County Saturday evening for an out-of-state competition, while Charter (9-2) plays Mount Pleasant Tuesday for their next match up.
