Bridget Sheridan's entry into the contest features bright colors and lot's of insects and she says inspiration came from being outside with her sister.
"My sister and I, every summer go outside and try to catch butterflies if we see them so it's really fun," Sheridan says.
Sheridan is representing Delaware in the contest--if she wins the national contest, she'll get a $30,000 college scholarship and a $50,000 technology grant to her school. She is one of ten finalists competing in the fourth and fifth grade levels of the contest.
The overall winner of the contest will have their doodle featured on the Google homepage on May 23.
You can vote for her entry on the contest website.
