Police have charged a Wilmington man with sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl during a class trip to a New Jersey amusement park.

Police say 34-year-old Glen San-Andreas is being held on $150,000 bail and is awaiting extradition to New Jersey. Police charge him with second-degree sexual assault and child endangerment.

Jackson Police says San-Andreas was a parental chaperone on an April 27th trip to Six Flags Great Adventure.

Police say San-Andreas took the girl to a secluded area of the park and assaulted her.

State police contacted Jackson police on May 7th.
