The Delaware DMV is warning you about a new phone scam.

Residents say they've been receiving automated calls claiming they can save significant money on their car insurance.

The message falsely states the Delaware DMV permitted the caller to make contact with the resident.

The DMV reminds Delawareans it will never share customer's personal information and that any claim of insurance savings under their name is a scam.
