Bear man wields knife during arrest
By Associated Press

County Police say a man threatened them with a knife while they were trying to arrest him on an outstanding warrant.

Police say they arrived at a home in Bear on Saturday afternoon in an attempt to locate and arrest David Clark and his girlfriend, Crystal Reynolds, for their involvement in a domestic incident that happened last month.

Police say when Clark saw officers he armed himself with a knife and began walking toward them. Officers told him to drop the weapon and he complied.

Clark was charged with aggravated menacing and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony. He was also charged with two counts of offensive touching for the domestic incident.

Reynolds was charged with harassment for the domestic incident.
