Thousands of pounds of toxic chemicals are being released each hour at the Delaware City Refinery.

DNREC reports a boiler is broken at the PBF Refinery on Wrangle Hill Road. It's causing several chemicals, including hydrogen cyanide and ammonia to be released into the air.

The hazardous chemicals will continue to pollute the air until the boiler is repaired, which may not happen until Friday.
