Probe into deadly OC small-plane crash may take a year
By Mark Fowser

It may be another couple of days before the wreckage of a small plane may be retrieved from the bottom of the ocean off Ocean City.

Also, a National Transportation Safety Board investigator tells The Daily Times of Salisbury that it may take about a year to make a final determination into the cause of Sunday's deadly plunge.

Two off-duty Ocean City Police officers, Thomas Geoghegan, Jr. and Joshua Adickes, were killed in the plane crash.

The plane was being flown by Geoghegan.

Witnesses say the plane started to spin and crashed into the ocean off 133rd Street.
