Wilmington man stabbed at a restaurant

State police are investigating an early morning stabbing that happened at a Wilmington restaurant.

Police say around 4 a.m on Sunday, two customers began a fight at Karibbean Delight located on 1030 South Market Street.

The altercation led to the stabbing of a Wilmington man, who was transported to a local hospital and treated for stab wounds to the upper body.

Another patron was struck in the head with a thrown bottle and treated for cut on the head and later released.

Police are asking if anyone has information on this incident to contact state police or Crime Stoppers.
