Temperatures aren't the only things climbing in Delaware, as the state's unemployment rate is up from the previous month.

The Labor Department reports the jobless rate for June was 7.3%, an increase from the 7.2% in May.

Officials say the the increase represents a pattern from recent years, for the economy to show strength in the beginning of the year, and then slow as summer approaches.

The national unemployment rate for June held steady at 7.6%.
