Traffic stop leads to heroin bust

An on-going investigation by Wilmington's Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Unit, has two men facing charges including heroin possession.

Shortly before 8:00 Thursday night, Wilmington Police stopped a car for failure to signal at the corner of 9th and King Streets.

A canine officer indicated drugs in the car, and detectives executed a search warrant. They found more than 109 grams of heroin, valued at more than $72,000.

Linzy Washington of Middletown, and Charles Fax of Wilmington, are both behind bars on lack of bail.
