Motorists' wallets squeezed by latest upswing in gas prices
By Jim Hilgen

Delaware motorists are likely wincing when they fuel up as gas prices jumped double digits last week.

According to Triple A Mid Atlantic the cost of a gallon of unleaded regular rose 12 cents to $3.69 by week's end.

Spokesperson Jana Tidwell says tensions in Egypt and production outages in Libya, Iraq and Nigeria are major factors in the price increase.

She warns fueling up will likely be even costlier in the coming weeks.
