(AP File Photo)Elena Delle Donne may be leading WNBA rookies in points, but her jersey only ranks 3rd behind a pair of first-year players on the WNBA's top-selling uniforms list.
The Ursuline and Delaware product is averaging 18.6 points per game for the Eastern Conference leading Chicago Sky, but she is still behind top-pick, and top-selling, Brittney Griner of Phoenix, and Skylar Diggins from Tulsa, who was the 3rd pick in this year's draft.
The three rookies all rank ahead of Minnesota's Maya Moore, whose jersey was the most popular each of the past two seasons. LA's Candace Parker is 5th.
Delle Donne's popularity did boost Chicago to second on the league's team sales list, only trailing Tulsa.
Chicago makes another close approach to Delaware on Wednesday when they play a 10:30am matinee at Washington.
