M.O.T.'s Hayden Trimarco drove in four runs including a home run, as his all-star team defeated Millsboro 13-3 in the opening game of the Delaware Little League Baseball tournament Thursday night.

Trimarco's home run came two batters after starting pitcher C.J. Loper hit a two run shot, spotting M.O.T. a 3-0 lead midway through the 3rd inning.

Millsboro responded in the bottom half of the frame with solo shots by Andrew Kelly and Cade Keeler cutting the lead down to one.

M.O.T.'s offense proved to be too much however, plating five runs while batting around in both the fourth and fifth innings, creating a run-rule situation which stopped the game early.

Trimarco drove in two more runs with a single in the 4th, and then added an RBI single in the 5th.

Loper scored three runs to go with his 2 RBI, and also tossed a complete game with 8 strikeouts.

M.O.T. will face Newark National Friday night at 7pm in the winner's bracket championship game. Millsboro will face the loser of that game Saturday at 7pm in the loser's bracket title tilt. All games in the tournament are at Newark American.
