Police look for suspect in convenience store robbery

State police are investigating the robbery of a convenience store in New Castle Thursday night.

Police say a man went into the Cumberland Farms store at 752 West Basin Road and handed a demand note to the cashier. She handed over money from the cash register and the man left.

No one was hurt during this incident. The man is described as black, 5 feet 10 inches tall, thin build, 40 to 50 years old. He was wearing a t-shirt and dark pants at the time of the robbery.
