Employment for people with disability focus of Markell's address
By Tom Lehman

In his latest weekly address, Gov Markell says Delaware must focus on improving employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Markell, who delivered a report on the subject at the National Governor Association's summer meeting in Milwaukee, says states across the country should also take part in his plan.

"This includes making employment of people with disabilities part of a broader state workforce strategy; finding and supporting more businesses who hire people with disabilities; making states model employers of people with disabilities; and preparing youth with disabilities for the workforce," Markell says.
