Someone stabs a man in the Tri-State Mall parking lot Saturday, and now State Police are searching for a suspect.

Troopers say the 27-year-old man was leaving the Claymont shopping center around 2:15 a.m. with friends.

Once in the parking lot, investigators say the victim drifted away from the group to a different area of the lot.

The victim returned minutes later suffering from several stab wounds.

Police say his friends drove him to the hospital, where he was admitted in serious condition.
