Teenager arrested for burglary spree
By Carl Kanefsky

A 13 year old boy is behind bars, facing charges related to a crime spree in two New Castle neighborhoods.

The teen was arrested Monday after police spotted him near the Arbor Place townhouses, after he ran from them twice over the weekend.

Investigators learned the teen was responsible for a total of six burglaries in the Simonds Gardens and Holloway Terrace communities.

He's being held at the New Castle County Juvenile Detention Center after failing to post $38,000 cash bail.
