Wesley quarterback Joe Callahan, wide receiver Steve Koudossou, and defensive end Aamir Petrose were named to the Beyond Sports Network Division III Football Team of the Week.

Callahan and Koudossou connected to smother the Wesley record book during the Wolverines' 33-21 comeback victory over then-#20 Widener on Friday night. Callahan, in his first career start, passed for a Wesley record 510 yards with five touchdowns. His 37 completions also set a school single-game record.

Koudossou, a junior, was the biggest beneficiary, collecting 17 of the passes for 266 yards (both records) and tying the school record with four receiving touchdowns.

Petrose was one of the highlights of a defense that held Widener to just two first downs over the next 31 minutes after the Pride had taken a 21-7 lead. The junior defensive end collected 2 1/2 sacks as part of his four tackles.

Wesley returns to Miller Stadium Saturday when they battle Route 13 Rival Salisbury at 1pm. WDEL's coverage begins with the Saturday Football Center at noon.
