Dover's quarterback Nicholas Spadafino connected with wide receiver Tavarus Sample for three touchdowns Friday afternoon to lift the Senators 26-14 against Concord.

To end the first quarter, Dover's Anthony Potts blocked a Concord punt out of the end zone. Dover earned the safety to take the early 2-0 lead.

Sample caught a two yard pass to extend the lead 9-0 going into the half.

With more than eight minutes left in the third, Spadafino completed a 28-yard touchdown to Sample. The extra point was good and the Senators continued to shut the Raiders down 16-0.

Concord answered right away when senior Matthew Mellette scored on a 85-yard kick off return. Stanley Dollard completed the two point conversion, and the Raiders trailed 16-8.

In the final quarter, Sample chipped in his final touchdown of the day, when Spadafino threw for the 23-yard completion.

The Raiders scored one last time when Brycen Alleyne put Concord in good field position followed by rushing touchdown.

The Senators picked up its first win of the season and will host another game next Friday against a Maryland team. Concord is still searching for its first victory and will face a tough Salesianum squad next Saturday morning.
