VIDEO: Highlights and reaction to Charter's victory over Concord

Charter forward Calvin Smick scored three goals, including two on free kicks, as the Force defeated Flight A rival Concord 5-0 at home Monday afternoon.

The Force controlled the run of play throughout the game, and were rewarded in the 27th minute when Smick defeated to Raider defenders for the ball, and sent a left footed wormburner towards the far post for the opening goal of the game.

Nine minutes later Smick again scored, this time on a free kick following a Raider foul. His left footed curling shot just snuck under the crossbar and inside of the right post to double the Force's advantage.

Smick completed his hat trick just four minutes into the second half, when a quick restart following an illegal pass back to Concord's goaltender led to a chip over that keeper, making it 3-0.

Fellow captain Nicolas Musacchio and Chet Greene completed the scoring for Charter (3-0), who have outscored their first three opponents 20-0.

Mariano Di Gabriele made seven saves for Concord, who dropped to 0-2-1 on the year.
