A bank robbery is under investigation in Claymont.

State Police Corporal John Day says just after 9:30 Monday morning, two suspects walked into the M and T Bank at 3530 Philadelphia Pike.

"They obtained money from a cashier, and before they left, they left a suspicious package inside of the bank and then they fled. So right now, the troopers on the scene are investigating the robbery and evaluating and inspeciating the suspicious package to try to make sure that it is safe to be removed," he said.
