Wilm. police investigate indecent exposure at Brandywine Park

Wilmington police say an off-duty state trooper confronted a man who was caught committing a lewd act in Brandywine Park on Wednesday.

Police say the trooper was jogging in the park around 4:40 p.m. when she saw a man committing a lewd act while he sat under the pavilion on a bench.

She verbally confronted the man, who fled up a hill toward Lovering Avenue.

The suspect is described as 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build.
