St. Mark's needed five sets to fend off Ursuline's fierce defense in a 3-2 victory over the Raiders on the road Thursday night.

Ursuline jumped ahead 4-1 on the power of kills by Stephanie Drake and Madeline Hughes.

Abbie Mirabella contributed a back row kill which sparked what turned out to be the deciding 14-6 run to end the match 15-10.

St. Mark's senior finished with a match-high 31 kills to go with 22 digs. Fellow captain Peyton Reno chipped in with 20 digs and 15 kills.

Ursuline ended the night with 107 digs, including a match-high 39 from senior libero Erin Joyce.
