Motorcycle slams into a horse downstate
By Amy Cherry

Roosevelt Williams
A motorcycle collides with a horse and flees.

It happened downstate in Bridgeville Sunday.

Police say Roosevelt Williams of Lincoln was traveling too fast on Chaplains Chapel Road as Michele Rose and her horse "Chance" were crossing the street.

The sound of the motorcycle caused "Chance" to freeze in the roadway and that's when the horse was struck.

The motorcyclist refused medical attention and took off. Police caught him just hours later doing speeds of 100 miles per hour in Georgetown. He faces reckless driving charges.
