VIDEO Highlight of the Tower Hill vs. Wilmington Friends field hockey game

Tower Hill's field hockey team displayed a high octane offense and a stout defense in their 3-0 shutout of Wilmington Friends Thursday.

The Hillers scored first at the 19:07 mark of the first half as Alexandra Butler shot a bullet past the Quaker goal keeper to put her team up 1-0. The Hiller offense scored again just before the halftime whistle as Kiva Walsh battled for the loose ball in front of the Quaker net, scooped it up and fired it into the back of the net putting her team up 2-0 going into halftime.

Ellie Wakefield, Tower Hill's net minder, would play brilliantly today as she stuffed all nine shots the Quaker offense would throw at her including a penalty stroke at the 18:26 mark of the second half. Kiva Walsh would add one more goal to the Hillers score at the 12:40 mark, her second of the day as Tower Hill went on to win 3-0.
